Osimhen: Club Brugge Rejected Me After Another Belgian Club Had Told Me No

Victor Osimhen has revealed that Belgian champions Club Brugge did not take the chance to sign him after another Belgian team, Zulte-Waregem, did not give him a contract even after he shone on trials there.
Osimhen was desperate for playing time after he did not figure in the plans of Bundesliga club Wolfsburg.
He therefore went on trials at Zulte-Waregem, where he did well on trials but they did not agree to take him even on loan.
Club Brugge then had a chance to sign the striker.
But they will also pass on the chance to have him because modest Zulte-Waregem did not give him a deal.
“If he failed to sign for Zulte why should we sign him”, Osimhen quoted Brugge President.
But like they say, the rest is now history because yet another Belgian club, Sporting Charleroi, took a chance on him and he scored the goals that fetched them over 13 million Euros in his transfer to Ligue 1 club Lille.
Charleroi also received a decent percentage when Osimhen moved to Napoli for a record 70 million Euros from Lille.
