For the first time ever, Bitcoin has crossed $30,000 bringing more attention to the cryptocurrency world.
It means that one bitcoin is now worth over $30,000, which now equally translates to more than N11m in Nigerian currency.
Bitcoin saw its price pass $30,000 on Saturday for the first time, according to data compiled by the Bloomberg news agency.
The first decentralised cryptocurrency passed $30,823.30 at 1313 GMT, after breaking $20,000 on December 16.
